Established in 1998 as a division of Astra Philippines Inc., Multicare became an independent company in 2002 under the leadership of founding President Mr. Romeo Sia Sy. Guided by its mission to provide quality, affordable medicines trusted by healthcare professionals, Multicare steadily grew year after year.
A major milestone came in 2009 when Multicare joined Lupin Ltd., a global pharmaceutical company founded by Dr. Desh Bandhu Gupta. His vision of combating life-threatening diseases with accessible, high-quality medicines shaped Lupin into one of the world’s fastest-growing generic pharmaceutical companies.
Since then, Multicare has expanded nearly fivefold, emerging as one of the most successful and fastest-growing pharmaceutical companies in the Philippines—serving the evolving needs of Filipino families nationwide.
