Doxorubicin is used in the treatment of leukaemias, lymphomas, sarcomas, neuroblastoma. Wilm’s tumour and malignant neoplasms of the bladder, breast, lung, ovary, and thyroid. Doxorubicin has also been used in other tumours including those of the brain, cervix, endometrium, liver, stomach, pancreas, and thymus, in getational throphoblastic tumours, retinoblastoma, and in myeloma.
